Children's Ministry

There are a variety of ministries that one can be involved in when concerning children. Each one requires different skills, but all require a love for children. Some of our weekly ministries include Children's Church, occurring simultaneously with the Sunday morning worship service. This provides our children an avenue to them to experience worship, but designed specifically for them.

On Wednesday evening we have a children's ministry that is directed by Lisa Hathcock. She receives help from a couple of other ladies; Linda Beavers and Sandra Presley. These three lead the our children in instructional games, reading the Bible, and many other activities that help the children in learning about the Christian walk and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Each summer, the church has a week-long Vacation Bible School, consisting of music, arts & crafts, Bible lessons, and activities for the children to help them in all aspects of their lives.

Our children are the most precious gift that God has given us. He even told us that we must be like a little child to enter into the kingdom of heaven and that whatever we do to the least of these, we have done unto Him. We have a responsibility to our children and we take it seriously. Thank God for children and the joy they bring to our lives.
